Because this is fascinating on like, the level of science, since I heard from this one guy one time that American English is what the British sounded like 150+ years ago, and that we’ve just undergone a less extreme linguistic divergent evolution than they have, so our accent is much more difficult to imitate than theirs, and OMHEAVENS HP7!
